Due to some health issues I'm dealing with, mainly having several TIA's recently, my mind is leaking things lol   I'd like to make arrangements in a few of my forums for others to take over in case something happens to me and they can just have Delphi had them over... do I leave a message in my forums addressed to Delphi or what would be the procedure?   Thanks... gotta go get some diagnostic imaging done, see you later

There are several ways to do this:

Leave a message in your forum (and be sure the person who would take over knows it's there), or send a message to memberservice@delphiforums.com or send an email to whomever you wish to take control (and ask them to keep the email).

I hope you get to feeling better soon.

Ok great, thank you Glen

I've had two ( at least) mini strokes, or TIA's in the past month, one a week ago

I do too but I doubt it, my mom was very prone to them, had quite a few before the big one hit

Thanks for this from me, too.

I just closed some forums and put others in a "read only" status in response to this condition. What else can I do to forums nobody has an interest in taking over? Only one of about 50 of my forums anybody had an interest in. :-) For some strange reason not many people are interested in a forum on ancient Greek stuff or the Golden Dawn. :-)

That can be the hardest part - finding someone willing to do it.

I hope you can get that problem resolved.   Get well soon.

Somewhat on the same topic:

Facebook lets users appoint an heir for their accounts

PCWorld

Facebook now allows users in the U.S. to pick a friend or relative to manage their accounts when they pass away. A designated “legacy contact” would inform Facebook after an account holder dies to have the person's profile turned into a memorial page
