Peregrine faLcons like to nest at the top of buildings at the University of Michigan, and the University provides nesting boxes for them. One is on top of the main hospital.
That's neat that they name them. Anything to help people connect with nature.
3 juvenile falcons appear to have taken up residence in my yard. I fear for the wild bunny that also now lives here. One of the falcons was just sitting on the fence watching bunny crossing back and forth under the gate. I can hear them screeing outside now. Middle of the city!— Cstar1 (@Cstar1) July 28, 2018
I grabbed my phone to get pictures, but it's a new phone, and I couldn't figure out fast enough how to use the camera. I've figured it out now, and since they've been hanging out here for the last week or so (though never as visibly as this morning) I have a good chance of getting photos.
