Even worse, they sell beer at many if the events. I do not want a smelly shower. Only sporting events I have ever been to were ice skating shows, not competitions.

I agree, IMO beer should not be at sporting events; too many problems, people get drunk, there are kids around,  nope, I won't go either.

Good. They also sell wine here at concerts and stage shows. Won tickets to see a Broadway show and was surprised to see wine.

IMO there is a time and place for alcohol.  Sporting events, concerts, plays,  those should be alcohol free.

Reading some Progressive/Liberal blogs or discussions (including those on Delphi) when ALLOWED to even read them.

Did I say that being so paranoid of other's potential thoughts is really demonstrated in the publishing of hidden forums, not even allowing read only access out of fear of opposition in the head or perception of muzzled readers, that practice is absolute fear personified.

I know of at least two very left leaning forums that tolerate no disagreeing with them.   It took me only one visit to say never again.  And I haven't been back.  And I also avoid those that tolerate flaming wars.  I like good discussions but not the horrid name calling I have seen going on.
