Gun Violence in America

Hosted by Cstar1

Americans' obsession with guns are killing us. Other countries don't have this problem, why do we insist on clinging to 19th century justice and neanderthal attitudes?

Stray bullets are common as bullet holes in Montana.  I personally know or have known a probably a dozen killed or maimed by "accidents" .  A high school friend of mine shot his pack mule because he thought it was an elk.  Another kid was looking at a gun when it went off and killed his buddy.  My kid's school building was shot numerous times.  One cannot talk to farmer or rancher with out hearing stories of firearm vandalization of live stock, machinery and buildings.   My favorite is the ubiquitous shot full of holes road signs along virtually every road in the state.

There is always an excuse for why the obvious causes of this carnage (shooters and guns) are not responsible.  At the very least we should tax hell out of firearms and ammunition to pay the cost of this nonsense.
