Gun Violence in America

Hosted by Cstar1

Americans' obsession with guns are killing us. Other countries don't have this problem, why do we insist on clinging to 19th century justice and neanderthal attitudes?

When are we going to reduce the carnage for a heavily taxed, licensed, regulated and to a surprisingly high extent, government supported activity?  MOTOR VEHICLES; since Lennon was shot and killed, almost 750,000 Americans perished on the roadways.

You're welcome to start your own forum to discuss that. However, I think you'll find, if you look up the statistics, that we have already significantly reduced injuries and deaths from car accidents over the last 30 years.

And umm.... False equivalence.

The purpose of guns is to kill.  The purpose of automobiles is to transport.  Autos are not being misused.  Guns are.  That's why guns need to be taxed, registered, licensed, and controlled.
