There are no speed horses entered so far. I expect a slow race with a "sprint" to the finish.
This kind of worries me; whoever takes the lead might just keep going. But which one? It’s one of the reasons I have Intrepid Heart in the mix.

He stumbled today in his work- Toss

Not sure about Joevia (I keep wondering if he has a brother named Stevia) but I do think Spinoff will be near the lead. I had him down for a bit of regression in the derby, along with Tax among others. I expect much better performances out of both of them. Everfast is the one that regresses here.

I hope some of the connections reconsider and we get at least 10 in here.
Owendale also looks like fool's gold in this one for multiple reasons. Looks like they're skipping the race now. Everfast for some of the same reasons.
Interpid Heart is, of course, a half to Commissioner, so he has the goods to get there.

owendale out. glad to hear that. he had no biz inthis race. why ruin a nice horse i wasnt using him anywhere anyway
master fencer if ANY inflamation out for me as welll. why was he working in bell boots anyway?

I thought this race actually set up pretty nicely for Owendale (third off the shelf, nice progression from Risen Star to Lexington to Preakness); he just gets a little further back than what I usually like to see in the Belmont.

prep race at 9f or 9.5f owendale maybe. the horse has no mare stamina to speak of. getting 12f and hitting trifecta would have been close to impossible for him. traner knows this. and withdrew from the race

Well it’s a good thing they don’t all pull back based on pedigree or there would be none left lol.
but didn’t he gain a couple of lengths on WoW in the Preakness stretch? Hmm....
