Clinches the 3YO title in a romp. Such a shame they had to tarnish his season by stealing the Derby from him.

Max is arguably 3 yo HOY. Owner suing against Derby results may cause some anticipated push back in awards acceptance speech by owner. Ahh...even money? (d)

Also going out on a limb..Owner West runs Maxy as a 4 yr old and runs the table to double-down prove to other connections he 'dah Man with the horse.

Should be unanimous. A stumbled away from being undefeated.

Haskin has a great article this week speculating on what the steward's robbed us of with their decision.

I honestly don’t think the stewards robbed us of anything.Truth be told,he should have been disqualified in the Haskell as well.

This colt has only begun to run.  Track (Big A) at Met Mile and weather crunchy. Not extended going home.  My final answer. The infraction at its time and place in a 20 runners event  Derby Day. ..Colt was the winner. The Haskell was goosey.. Doubt from here on the connections will instruct/ride anywhere near a field runner. Just Go Go out front runner.

Holiday Wishes & Happy New Year. (d)
