4 horse field win off a first win as maiden gets a gate in Derby.
Maybe Husker and I can have a foot race next Saturday. Win + In.

Hey Husk..just kidding, you'd be carrying more weight.

This colt only needs a 2nd or 3rd in say the Haskell or Travers and would eclipse a bunch of hopefuls holding 30 pts or less. Baffert is most winning Haskell trainer.

Baffert has 2 runners officially confirmed positive. A guess of suspension, owners move horses to another trainer, then suspension ends before Kentucky Derby. Worse case scenario. And just as for today in forward to Derby.
Case in point, Steve Assmusen- trainer, after significant audit was found to be not in substantial violations.

No spectators for 2020 Saratoga NYRA summer leg.Purses will be reduced.
Surprisingly
In 2019, all-source handle. at Saratoga was a record $705,343,949. On track, the handle was $146,618,750
Local economy will take a hit.

Specious reasoning, Dogs.....if ANY horse comes in 2nd in the Travers or Haskell, he'll be in the gate. If those other horses cannot beat Uncle Chuck as he tries to qualify, then they don't deserve the gate. I have no idea if he'll qualify, but I doubt he'll make it without another good showing in a prep.

I think the horses should wear masks. Should be noted in the PP's with the addition of blinkers. New angle; first time masks.

I'm not entirely sure that the regular citizens in SAR would be excited to have thousands of people come in from LI and Downstate during a pandemic where those particular places had / have high numbers of infection, but you're right, the locals that rely on live crowds will not prosper.
