Last week somebody emailed me about this as if it was "news".  This was out back in November:

Jury will be out for awhile as to whether this is a profitable move.

The purses over there aren't slots-fueled like here,, but to make matters worse, you have a few big stables -- Coolmore, Godolphin, Juddmonte -- that win everything.

If they try to race in Ireland, in every Group stakes Coolmore sends out more than half the field.  Every time.  Be like if Bob Baffert sent out half the field in every Graded stakes in Southern California (he doesn't), but that's how complete Coolmore's domination is in Ireland.

I just can't see Team Valor sending their string to Royal Ascot, Arc weekend, or any of the big QIPCO days and winning anything.  Not against that "cartel".

No wonder Aidan O Brien has so much success in the classics. He usually has 6 or 7 entries.Maybe Team Valor could use Joseph o Brien and sneak a few Group races
