Just saw this one, Camp Hope.  Pedigree query has him in FemaleFamily 37
I had to look it up in Lowes.  Ive never seen that in any of the classic female families.
Family No. 37 – MERLIN’S DAM 
Just interesting, never see that family come up, at least I never have. 

I am not real familiar w/any of the horses in this race. 

6 I like here:  Essential Quality looks interesting, seems like a classic empire type of guy. Love King Fury but he is not speedy (my type of horse as usual) 
Others to like  ROMBAUER, Likeable, Reinvestment Risk,  and Calibrate.  

I don't think asmussen's Jackie speedball will even be around by Feb, already over-raced for a 2 year old IMHO.

JW is truly fast, so your fears are warranted. His sire was too fast, too early, and didn't race again after his sensational debut. On his dam side he has Danzig who was very fast and burned out quickly, and of course he has Unbridled's Song on his sire side. His dam herself, AP Five Hundred, only raced 4 times.

I wasn't making selections.  Just pointing out horses I like in this race.  :) 

I'm not betting it.  It's too much of a crap shoot.   

Maybe Essential, Rombauer on top, hows that?  LOL

His closing style wasn't as good as it looked, the pace was backing up in the preps he won.

At that time I couldn't find another family 37 anywhere.

I practiced what I preached and went to my diary and put my Delta Horse on top.

The Doug O'Neill horse 12 got me good. In a bad way.

Had won a 1st time with blinkers. And they worked better today.

Maybe I better get a dog.
