Just got a note from Dick saying he is retiring his Downey Profile site, for several reasons, including trying to recover from prostate cancer.  I have really appreciated all his hard work over the years and his dedication as an impassioned Derby researcher.

He will be missed on the scene.....perhaps he will join us here from time-to-time

Understandable.  I have not really found his site the last few years, I always enjoyed it.  Sounds like time to spend energies elsewhere.  Best of wishes.
