I never know "how" I'm going to use last Q or final 1/8.  Seem to work better in Preak or Derby?

Brody's Cause, Damsire Roberto.  Last Q 25.57 Derby which in THAT Belmont made him 3rd fastest in the field --- and he never lost ground in any races but 6th in the BEL.

Creator  finished 18 lengths behind Nyquist in the KY Derby!   (After winning Arkie Derby final 1/8 in 12.66.)    "Come from the clouds grinder" running style.....but his dam had that nice south american blood from Peru.

Cherry Wine, another late runner who was known for running over sloppy tracks. 7th in the Belmont on clear/fast......but that was more becasue of pedigree.

Brodys Cause didn't meet the Historical Guidelines last Q 25,40 or faster, he had a slow final Q,
was he backing up ?

Creator might of needed a line drawn thru the Derby race, I don't  remember

When I first heard about nicks, it was the Teddy Hyperion nick.  I've always loved seeing a lot of Hyperion for turf horses.

But these are 2nd generation Tapits, not products directly from the source. grin

Tapit is part of what I call the Seattle Slew Nick who is part of the Bold Ruler Nick back to the 1970.s

Tapit Pulpit APIndy  Seattle Slew  always in the first 3 generations, always in a 5 generation pedigree for a Tapit winner
For a Tapit son  First 4 generations counting Tapit, they all have strong female lines in this sire line

Bms line Unbridled, Fappiano, Mr P will be in his Progeny 5 generation chart, like they were for tapit
Tapit is a Tapit Pulpit API Slew/ Unbridled Fappiano  Mrp Sire Nick

with Nijinsky CS, Secretariat Le Fabuleux  P, In Reality in there 5 generation, you lose all of Tapits 5th generation
to be in his progenys 5th generation, But you get Their Progeny that have some strong females.

We The People has this plus Tiznow  Constitution/ Tiznow Same as Tiz The Law the 9f Belmont Winner
Barber Road has The Race Day Tapit/ Halo Nick with Princequillo in a passing position

Also you have some strong Curlin Smart Strike Mr P, line in here
Rich Strike with the Powerful Gold Digger 13c Rasmussen Factor With 2 lines of Mr P one on each side
and his full Brother Search For Gold on the Dam Side both with Blue Larkspur in a Pp.
Mr P has Smart Strike on both side who has Curlin And Rich Strikes Dam Gold Strike can't get any closer then that.

Skippy has Exaggerator Curlin Smart Strike Mr P/ War Chant Danzig Northern Dancer ,strong Belmont Nick

Nest has a strong  Curlin /Api  Belmont Nick with 12 blue line Mare's in 5 generations with 6 lines of possible
Xfactor Large Heart. she had the fastest last 1/8  in this field in her last race.
