Should have been in the Holly Bull thread. Here.
Holly Bull / Gulfstream / Grade3 named entry Lord Miles, jockey Irad Ortiz Jr
Where the colt Lord Miles will run today.
Blinkers Lord Miles + Mr Bob

Morethanreadyeddie didn't get to run, finding some trouble in the race. I didn't want to see him in a sprint, or on the turf anyway. Pletcher learned nothing, and the horse got nothing out of the race.

I think the best three year old i saw today at Gulfstream, was King's Fortune(Bolt d'Oro). The Pletcher first time starter was impressive in what looked to be a nice group of maidens. Look for others to come out of that race, including the place horse, Just So, a Chad Brown trained son of Justify.

the Voice of the Derby picked General Jim in his win the Best Of the day so far
and Liked Tapit Trice better than Rocket Run for 3's today. a few more 3's to go.

My pick ran on all weather, so I can't argue, but he handled the mile and 70 yds easily first out.

I checked it out, good splits on the AW track, I like to see that on any surface
and IOrtiz.

What I liked was the way King’s Fortune kicked clear at the end, as if he found another gear. Bodes well as the distances get greater. Not common with a first time starter. He was well prepared!
