I liked Volcanic's race, though also not fast E 76.....he looked big, strong, and his stride, once he got going in the middle of the stretch, was impressive
Spa pays well! 770+-1 on a Brown/Shug exacta :)
He and Bourbon Heist had terrible trips, watch the video and read the chart.
The Tri + Super + Picks in that race exploded the board.
7/25/21 Del Mar 5.5f Dirt
Race 2 Drink the Wind Peter Miller
7/29/21 Saratoga 5.5f Turf
Race 6 Consumer Spending Chad Brown
7/30/21 Saratoga 5.5f Turf
Race 6 Slipstream Cristophe Clement
Thanks, race 2 at Del Mar number one has a MTR BMSire Sumter Mandella trained
Suppose to be pointed for Routes, facing Bafferts 3.. that has me curious for a good trip.
The #2 disappointed big time. Baffert's horse looked very impressive.
Yes, Murray looked great......as did a $67 BB daily double! I am surprised that SF Racing is sticking with Baffert, but I suppose that if they get a Derby contender, they can always switch barns?
“Cheap speed” indeed! It’s bad enough if they are only able to win 5.5f sprints. What’s worse is when they are only able to lead early in this fields, then fold like a cheap tent! MTR sent out two such horses at short prices in Labarde and Drink the Wind. Pretty embarrassing to get all that pre-race hype, then finish so poorly. Looked like quarter horses out there!
