I guess if you defeat a heavily favored Baffert horse in your debut, you want to know what you have!

Raes answer is part of it, I heard some trainers and I don't know if it applies here

because of covid, bad weather in parts of the racing Country struggled to find a way to ship

to other venues safely. Also some trainers like the strategy of debuting  3 yr olds in February

and this is guessing on my part.

Giant Game is my pick out of this group for Saturday in May field,
at GP at this distance its tough to win from post 9 with the configuration

of the track and It would be great if he can over come it, saying that win or lose he has to show

he's moving forward.

No doubt....and I do like this colt, but I would rather see him take the horse along a little more slowly :)

Reply to message 517 the Withers stks. because of the Track conditions I'm going to draw a line thru this race

If it ran on a fast track I would of Capped it the same way I did. Early Voting I liked a lot at 2 yrs old ,
I didn't think he was ready after only one race, others had more of a foundation and  his jock won this race

at the starting gate. 1.55.90 final time for the win. and I think about the time for the others, Head Shaker.

results for the Holy Bull: #8 White Abarrio was much the Best, great ride from post 8, by  Gaffialone ,

Giant Game OTM was a disappointment , he didn't show much, the 2 turfers  Tiz The Bomb and Spin Wheel

looked like they don't like dirt.. 2nd place Simplification Tossed his head around at the break, was 6 lengths behind

at the first call and improved his position at each call , 3rd place Mo Donegal broke slow Idled along and finished strong

the last 1/16 and missed 2nd by a head, 4th place Galt on the lead backed up after 6f .

If you boxed the 6 I suggested , you would of hit the Tri.  8-4-2.. .)

Futures bettors certainly seem to like MO better than Abarrio.....can still get 40 on the latter, while the former sits as fave now at 15

Is it just me, or are these trainers taking longer and longer to get their Derby contenders that ran well as juvies, back to the track in their soph year? So many of these horses haven't even put in published works yet, and several others haven't run. It's February! If you haven't begun to work, you may wind up with a single prep for a 10f race. I'll say right now, that will write off any horse doing doing that from my win bets.

Do you think the backside is hit with pandemic problems and terrible weather conditions

backing up works ?
