Harder ridden and flogged by Ortiz, I like Pratts hands and the way he used them

in this ride on Consumer, the drop back looked planned so he and Rosario on the worst

horse in the field could play Rock, paper, and scissors until the racing started. That 7 horse

never worse than 3rd was fighting his Jock the first Quarter, This might be a key Turf race

For 2 yr old fillies. MSW imo

I know it was Arlington, but add Plus Chic(More Than Ready, out of a Joyeux Dancer mare) to your filly watch. She ran to her works, and I think she will stretch out.

MTR is churning them out at the Spa. On Friday, race 5, he's got two nice ones; More Than Vows(Lynch) and Bubble Rock(Cox). This is why this time of the year is always exciting to me. Hope springs eternal!

2 winners caught my eye  today at Colonial Downs that will be under the Radar sleepers
on the Turf for 2 yr olds . I'm adding them to my 2 yr old list.

Race 2 : Males MSW 5.5f : Wish Me Home (T) Midshipman/Big Brown a front runner wired The field
-
Race 9: MDN Fillies 5.5 f : 12 start: High Arabian by Fed Biz / Street Cry
Started 11th , 14 lengths behind, still 11th at the 1/4 and 3/8 pole inhaled the field
ran the last 1/16 th in less than 6 seconds won going away by 1 3/4 lengths in a 5.5f race.

MTR is getting a bit of seconditis. James Aloysius, Consumer Spending, and Bubble Rock were not able to close the deal in their debuts. Hopefully, each will move forward to become stakes performers!

When they start stretching out will tell more and eliminate others listed.

Getting closer to September, Remember all of those years when the Derby Winner

broke his Maiden after September 1st. Now some don't run at 2 Yrs Old.
