What are they doing about Jockeys crawling along on turf and merry go round races?

Running turf sprints like routes then sprint last 3/16.

Good question.  If we had real stewards and real rules and regulations, the BS rides would slowly but surely shrink in number.

So NYRA reduced Baffert's ban to 1 year.    

I think they need to add a zero to the end of that.

The fact that Jamie Ness is still in the sport after 108 separate rulings against is the perfect example of why US racing is a cruel sport.  

He should be out for life.  Period.  The greatest of the great trainers like Wittingham and The Chief, Allen Jerkens would be over the moon for a 20% win rate.  And here's Ness clipping along at 31%??  It's nauseating and very frustrating that he still gets to play at all.  6 months?  No.

As much as I dislike Beta Bob, Ness makes him look like an angel.
