I fully expect another delay on Monday... or I'll modify that to, this still won't be settled on Monday.  Let them prove me wrong.

The track(s) are say like the TV or subscriber broadcast networks. Venue.

The owners and trainers provide content.

I wrote in my Derby Diary how these content providers have providence to control their content *horse campaign.

The Triple Crown venue is at 3 separate  biz entities. Enrollment to TC nomination is to a 3rd party.

So 'these guys and Dogs perhaps surmise also that a Triple Crown based on a record flurry of them in recent years will have a drought. This year I'd take 2/5 no TC winner.

The inventory of a crop seasons is shrinking like the value of a dollar.

So what will become is owner trainers will race elsewhere and those TV stations /tracks "will offer the primo content. And attract other horse not in dispute

Sorta' you don't want me in the club...I'll go to the other clubs with their open arms.  PARX big day Penn Derby gave trainer and owner of CALIFORNIA CHROME an appearance fee of $100,000. Each. As fav finished 6th. Following his Dead heat for 4th in failed 3rd leg for TC in the Belmont Stakes.

The people over at Pimlico are praying that Bobski is out of the Derby and trainers don't switch over. PREAKNESS is a small field. So they Boost the purse; and for szuts and giggles Roberto runs the Super tick-et with his 4 entries. Likely 1st and 2nd place Derby finishers always resort to this one. And a shorter race not by much than TC; yet Likely Bobito's horses fresher. And trained to vindictive level. And he shames the Belmont. And again take a read of my notes in my Derby Diary that other tracks are with open arms and purse prushuto to cut into the Most Public annual race of once a year bettors proving the needed black type to their annual bottom line.

Can anyone tell me if the Medina Spirit Derby DQ as a meds list banned substance is exactly that; that was found in the post race drug test?

Or, was the drug in the legal application ointment-sav in the explanation found to be a derivative not on med list.

FYI, Dogs:

Mary Scollay, executive director of the Racing Medication and Testing Consortium and former equine medical director for the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission, says it’s not so clear.

The rule prohibits the presence of betamethasone,” Scollay said. “It does not specify beyond that. Valerate or acetate — doesn’t matter.

I agree.  I wouldn't bet a penny it goes forward.  Though, I hope it does.

Colors are wonderful on that one, Dogs.  Reminds of a bit of an abstract Leroy Neiman, perhaps after he ingested some magic mushrooms.
