Beta and Ray have been going at it for years. When Baffert had those incomprehensibly high number of sudden deaths in his stable, Paulick wrote a column that Beta took offense to. Beta came back with a scurrilous ad hominem attack citing Ray's battle with drugs. He more than implied that Paulick still had a problem. We all know Ray is clean as a whistle. How low can Baffert go? Really, really low.
All that stuff can be found in internet archives.
On the horsey side, guys like Baffert and Pletcher go through horses like tissue paper looking for the "one". Like D Wayne before them in his hey day.
I root for them to survive, never mind win.

The saga continues. Arguments made and the decision whether or not to stay the suspension until Baffert has his day in court will be handed down by Monday.
Interesting read. Beta Bob's attorney is laying it on super thick. A suspension now will end poor Beta Bob's career. That's complete BS.
The KHRC is sticking to the facts. That doesn't always beat good drama.

Whats the odds he wrongly gets a reprieve? Say 1-5, you could almost see this happening. Sad.

Holy Moly...humbly Dogs is pretty-pretty well rounded in racing from gate to wire. This keeps up we'll all have a PhD in equine law, civil procedure, and a side of equine pharmaceutical.
As the gang that can't run straight...the sample evaluated as science (these machines are super correct) should have been then put up against the rules..the rules. That's it.
The coming Derby will be fireworks about Maximum Security and The Sav that ate the Kentucky Derby.
The public is going to get more than their 2 minutes worth.
Betcha Bob is on the back sports page in the NY tabloids come 1st Saturday.

You ain't kidding.

What a joke. I hope this judge laughs Bob and his lawyer out of the courtroom. 90 days isn't a lifetime suspension nor would a $7500 fine bankrupt him.

Really.
"Beta Bob" has morphed into "Boo-Hoo Bob" right before our eyes. Playing the victim.

Good catch, Rob. Interesting absence of entries.
I'm sure you saw that Boo-Hoo does have at least 2 and maybe 3 going next weekend at Meydan. That's the only exception I can think of.
