They both may go in the Pat Day Mile, actually.....but I doubt either will go in the Preakness, which why I didn't take them, though I almost took Corniche.  I think they'll both be major players in the summer.

I gotta tell you , I enjoyed watching the draw on this and the strategy used, for this

field on paper looks competitive ,some cagey cappers out there.

You might think about doing this next year in January and have 9 or 10 people signed up.

I was in art store and I thought about a blind bid Dollar scenario where the colts were randomly entered in some order.  So someone might end up with one, another buying a lot. Say my scenario would be 55% 35% 10% of bankroll trying for 3 horses. If I lost the 1st horse ..I'd have 100% for next and might have had that bidder take a colt so when my 1st choice came up ..they out

Jack Christopher is Trained by Chad Brown top 2 yr old that was injured, reports say he will run May 7th

on the under card, I would guess Belmont if he runs in a Tc Race, with the 4 lines of Big reds Daughters

in 5 generations.

I really liked both of them last year, with Brown ol Jack might be pointed to the BC and skip the choice

of the 2 TC races.

I started second and wanted either Messier or Taiba and got my pick.  In the second round pretty much all of the ones I thought had a chance to win the derby had all been snapped up so I started thinking about the Preakness.  Skippy probably isn't the first choice there--and I don't know if they'll run him in it--but both Exaggerator and Curlin won in Baltimore, albeit after both ran in the derby.  Plus he's the second crop for both his sire and bms.  By the time my third pick rolled around the next day I was mildly surprised no one had picked Classic Causeway yet.  He might finish last but he also might not have much company on the lead in the derby if they decide to wait on the Preakness with Early Voting.  My last pick was a stab in the dark, going with the forgotten Rattle N Roll.  He hasn't done much lately but showed last year that he's capable.  Maybe he'll jump up in the Preakness or Belmont.

I didn't go in with any real strategy like whether to try to get in the money points in the derby or to try to pick something for the other two races.  It just kind of turned out that way.

Thanks. Maybe we'll do a Road to the Derby contest next year as well as a Triple Crown one.

Didn't think I'd get Epicenter or Taiba so late in the draft, ended up with both somehow. If neither win the Derby, we probably won't see them in the Preakness or Belmont, so that could be an issue. They went third and fourth, respectively, in the first round of the In the Money podcast draft.

I would've taken Skippy in the third round had he lasted. Really hope he's running somewhere Derby weekend.
