Belated Happy New Year, Plus.  And to all the rest of our friends here.

Baffert ran 1/2/3 in the Sham so it is Groundhog Day again and again and again.  :-D

A perfectly named race for Baff, dont you think. Yes, the hits just keep coming I suspect to prove to all, he is the greatest......

There are two places you will not find Beta Bob's name.  On the list of trainers who support HISA and on the list of trainers who have come out in favor of the Water-Hay-Oats-Alliance [WHOA]

Baffert's the perpetual victim.  Always someone else's fault.

The president of the National HBPA, a group that on several local levels had been actively obstructing the smooth implementation of HISA uniform rules and regulations, as well as the new anti-doping and drug protocols, has signed onto the HISA advisory board.

This, IMO, is a welcome and necessary development.  Good news.

And now this:

https://www.thoroughbreddailynews.com/baffert-cdi-appears-to-misunderstand-its-own-derby-qualifying-rules/

Really? His CDI suspension is over after the 2023 Kentucky Derby (so, from May 7 onwards he can race at their tracks again).   It wasn't a lifetime ban nor 10 years like Dutrow.  He should just lay low, STFU, and wait out the next 3 months.  Why all this crap now to try to sneak in this year's Derby as if his life depended on it?

If he wants to make CDI look bad, he should try to sweep the superfecta in the 150th Derby (next year)... but I'm sure Asmussen, Cox, Pletcher, Brown et al will have something to say about that!

Fully agree.  CDI will not fold, if the article is any indication, based on CDIs comments and Baffert is like a dog with a bone.  Beta Bob is a pro at doing grievance and playing the victim.  He simply cannot STFU.
