Barber Road  has been brought back 3x since the Belmont in 2022........he's run 2 allowances at OP (where he ran 3rd and 5th), and yesterday (friday 2/10/23)   he trailed the field, couldn't close to even get into the superfecta on a wet track. 

Actually, John Ortiz hasn't been doing well this season, etiher has Asmussen.  He's barely hitting 7% wins

Classic Moment is running today, he was the one who was vanned off a ky derby prep race in Sunland Derby that the entire racing universe ignored and never reported back on for weeks, if you remember my irritation about that.   He is running a 6F sprint today.   20-1


I don't know if the rest of you do this  but I like to see just how much those who ran on the TC trail, who haven't been retired, do afterwards,as many people says it ruins some horses.  


I have one hot longshot today at 20-1 in R10  Unsung Melody (#11), who has only run one race so far, but Ortiz is bringing in Geroux who is not riding at OP this meet, to ride.    Seems like a good longshot to play.   Track is rated MUDDY.  Also like the #3, also 20-1,  to run ITM in R10 ------# 3 is unraced but has a good record in the breeding for this.  

The #12 and #10 are also huge longshots (10-1 and 20-1) .  The last race of the day usually runs somewhat to form though, but it's the one race I like to toss in some longshots, why not. 
 

Oh, and Super Stock is also racing at OP today, in Race 7.  Who won the AR Derby in 2021 and then ran in the KY Derby and came in 16th.

Hope some of you played horses I mentioned.  Classic Moment (who it appears nobody even knew he was on the trail last year) went up to 30-1 at post from 20-1 and paid $25 to place and $12.20 to show.  People were offering me condolences cuz the #6 just got by him and had one of the topmost riders at OP (Torres) which is probably why.  Classic Moment and the winner was a photo finish, the winner got him by only about 1/2 a head. 

 I was happy with what I got though:

My other longshots in R10 did great!  Unsung Memory went from 20-1 to 35-1 at post, and almost won, but came 2nd at 35-1 and paid

11.   $23.60$14.20

My #3  who started at 20-1 (sacred wish) and at post went to 33-1......ran 3rd ....
