Interesting to me mainly because I had posted about this horse a few times here, coming over to our TC races, but it never happened. Bred in US but bought (this one was let go at the KEENOV'18 Breeding Stock Sale for only $70,000 and raced in Japan. I was sure he was going to wipe out everyone on the field--Kingmambo - Storm Cat cross.
--had thought the same about Le Vent Se Leve(JPN) as well who has since entered stud so I will be keeping an eye on his progeny for sure.. but they never come over. Such gorgeous pedigrees on these guys.

Meanwhile, Lemon Pop(USA) won the February Stakes 1600m dirt at Tokyo under Ryusei Sakai to grabbed his first G1 title on Feb 19th 2023, improving his brilliant record to 11: 8-3-0
One we should have kept!-----but trainer seems to think 1 mile is his sweet spot.
