I wait for the field to be published, w/out scratches, and with odds.  Ususally the day before the race.   Just following custom from other forums I've been on over the years.  
 

Besides, there are other people here who can post up that information, right?  Or is this one of those "no good deed goes unpunished", ie. I'm going to be held responsible for everything that happens to the topic now? 

All I did was post up the topic heading for the race, in anticipation of people wishing to discuss the race beforehand. i.e. I simply created placeholders for the topics.   What efforts everyone else puts into them is up to them. 

Or even whether or not they use the topics for the prep races that I created.   In no way am I "in charge" of the topics nor do I wish to be. 

 

You can post anything you want, My point is I had that posted already and you in the past

have pointed that out  to people that topic is already started in a message .why start a new one.

If I am understanding you correctly, you are noting above that you post all the prep races in your 2022 2-year-olds/2023 3-year-olds topic, ie. that you "had that posted already" .

So,   all the races are already there and that the 2022 2 year olds/2023 3-year olds topic is where the members prefer to post discussions about each race. 

If you can't see that I was not duplicating what you do there, in any way, shape or form, then I will just let somebody else explain why I posted a topic for each prep race, in the Triple Crown topic area.  

I don't need (or want) to own any topics here.   So I won't be starting any more for April 1st races or onward... but will leave the ones up that I already posted.  Never occured to me that I'd be stepping on any toes by doing so. 

That was the only prep race I talked about, I didn't mention any other prep races

and I was mentioning that because of what I said. I'm sure there is something for both sites

You have never duplicated that I know of ,my stuff , you are your own person, thats A plus right there.
