I do this silly thing every year.   My birthday is in March and most race horses are foaled Jan thru May  (not that many in Jan or May though)

I go thru the foaling dates every year to find a horse with my birthday. It's a fun gimmick bet. If you are born from Jan to May, find ya one.

In 2011, guess who it was?  

.........that's how I had Animal Kingdom to win the KY Derby !!! $43.80 

The other one that year for me was Pants on Fire. Won a bit on him, too, if you remember, he won the Louisiana Derby in 2011.


I'm not above a silly hunch wager for prep races or the TC races themselves. 

When I was born, on the last day in April, the doctor said to my mom; I won Dogs' birth date pool  That this baby would be born to see his first Kentucky Derby next Saturday.

Guess the doctor was a horse racing fan.  Neat story.

That's GREAT!   Lucky you!   He has a shot to run ITM and if he does to also run ITM in the TC races.

So far, nobody has my BD yet this year.
