If you like Verifying you have to like Blazing Sevens. Both ran in 2 G1s each, Verifying ran 2nd in both; Blazing Sevens won 1 and ran 3rd in the other.
If you have no love at all for Verifying, then just ignore this post. I believe he's one of the large hearts, so I do like Verifying a bit.

Verifying pressed some fairly pedestrian fractions then Gaffalione did his best to herd TT into the grandstand but they still couldn’t hold him off. He is a really late foal though so he might still get better. Blazing Sevens has a cool name.

He does, its a casino game name.
But I think Scoobie Quando takes the prize for "best name" myself!

The big mark against Blazing Sevens was his return, and one would have thought Chad would have him better prepared. Trainer then said to put a line through the race, didn't really understand what happened....and clearly was better placed in next.
Don't know what to think. Was that comeback race simply an aberration? Did Brown not have him prepared? Was he under the weather? His next showed enough grit to grind somewhere in the super for the Derby, possibly. I will definitely watch the works.
Verifying is one of my top choices to hit the board. I think he's a real competitor, could improve off last, with the right post and break should be in contention most of the race. But I have to admit I have bias, as I do have a futures ticket on him too :)

prince, I just watched B7's work at KEEN. He's in blinks like he was for the bluegrass.
I think this one might be part of the *all-aboard-the-defection-train* to be honest. Of course, everyone will wait til the very last minute as usual.
And Angel of Empire is now in blinkers?????? WTF? He's not run in blinks. But working in them

Good eye! I noticed that previously, that Angel of Empire trains in blinkers and races without them. Maybe he has trouble focusing in the morning? Or is this a Brad Cox thing?

Guess I was right about that
