Not 3 or 5 or 7, but 10 Gr1 winners will be lining up in a projected field of 20 to compete in the Gr1 Yasuda Kinen Mile in Tokyo.

Last year's winner, Songline, who recently got up by a nose over her rival Sodashi are both entered and will likely end up being the main story line leading up to the race, as well.

However, there is also Jack D'Or coming off a Gr1 win and in razor form by all reports.  Serifos will also be taking money.

At first glance, it appears there will be contention on the pace which may open the door for a horse coming through in the final section.  Looking forward to it.

Here's the projected field:

My opinion is not going to change at this point.   5 horse exacta box - Sodashi/Songline/Schnell Meister/Serifos/Jack D'Or

I think it's going to be a formful race.

Only Two 3's entered, do you know the history of 3's in the past races is that why you didn't

pick a 3 or your usual dd Cappin .. 3 blue 2 red . Good luck !

I think speed is going to hold, or at least Sodashi will carry on and you'll need to be close to get in the underside of exactas.

Jack D'Or is projected to make pace in some models but I have a feeling he won't like the mile pace.

I'm using him anyway just in case.

I saw their Pace chart just now , the 3's are deep closers, and I was curious with the 3's only two

entered . Good luck with 10 g1ers . s/be competitive.

Songline, last year's winner, comes along with a sparkling turn of foot, to double up and win in a fast 1:31.4.   Very exciting race.  Serifos 2nd.  Schnell Meister 3rd.
