At this point, I'm in agreement after watching this horse grind around the track in The Wood.
I threw the Derby out for this one except for the conditioning aspect of it.
Personally, I like him better than Blended Citizen, the other grinder who seems to be getting love at this stage, at least.
Enticed = Price horse.

My Boy Jack was a colt, to my surprise got that lot of love feeling come the display of Derby wetness; and Dogs couldn't jump in on that. Because he would not be there with the fractional calls anticipated compared to what his performances were and needed.
In this one, although at the long ball distance, and a set of different fractional anticipated times, the same holds true IMO.

As did Assmussen, for less experienced jockey Santana with NYRA leading jock Irad Ortiz Jr aboard Creator 2016; with win at the very wire. By a credit card.
I would not underestimate Santana. He is really really good.
4 races ITM at Pimlico on Friday, 2 were wins;
5 races ITM at Pimlico on Preakness day, 3 were wins.
Your guy Castellano: 1 win, 2 place, 1 show.

Well you guys know I like Enticed. I would be thrilled if he runs.....head held high!

Ree~Card-oh is my favorite at large rider in the US.. He once brought in a substantial ticket riding the front and back ends of a pick 3, both mile grass with Song Bird cold in the middle of the sandwich. Dogs @ Saratoga. I noted recently he still gets angry about race outcomes and his riding ..but in front of the trainer.
The guy is a real gentleman.
Preakness day I did not overlook him, yes. The biggest pay off through the Preakness was 7.80.
Still maintain that I will not Overanalyze long ball distances where senior seasoned money riders get there first.
As always (d)

Castellano is arguably one of the best jocks to ride a horse as to what he knows it can do and what he can do with a runner as a race unfolds. Knows the potential strategy and running style of opponent runners and jockeys. All the big gun jocks know how to ride a horse.
JJ knows when to ride a horse.
My best to you. (d)

And in case nobody has heard, My Boy Jack is not running in the Belmont Stakes. He's going to turf in the Grade 1 Belmont Derby in July.
"The Wynn Las Vegas' latest Belmont Stakes odds listed My Boy Jack as an 8-1 co-third choice."
Really? 8-1 co-3rd choice? sheesh. Thank god for parimutuel betting, wished he had stayed in and taken a lot of $$

Was just sayin' Santana was riding against all those big money riders and he got ITM more than they did on Preakness Day.

I read that defection coming and it really is a disappointment and as they say: Not in a good way.
He would have been way over bet and as I mentioned above here had little chances of success with the predictable fractions on a dry track.

Yeah, seriously. At this point, I just hope we get a close to full field. We might need to turn to the Turn-Tos for value in the Belmont.
