I thought Hofburg was a major player in the Derby. I had him as high as the two spot going in. His line for that race read, "brushed at the start, steadied twice". He entered the stretch about 17 lengths back, and cut the margin in half. He is probably the most inexperienced horse in the race, with huge upside in my opinion. I am confident he will be running at the end of this race, while some others will be gasping for air like fish out of water. He will be my upset pick, so I hope some others, like Justify obviously, and maybe Blended Citizen, Vino Rosso, or some other horse, get bet down. I might even get double figures on him.

He’s second in the betting right now, even lower than Bravazo. With his sire he’s probably going to stay 2nd or 3rd choice too would be my guess.

The jockey aboard Hofberg, Irad, who is The jockey on the NYRA circuit, Irad Ortiz Jr, gives/provides much of the weight given to the odds and chances for Hoffy. My feel is this runner is not seasoned enough to provide the jockey's skills and comport to his hand and feet maneuvers to go around the long ball distance and this surface composition.
Watched Blended Citizen work Saturday, his size hoofs and digging the dirt look well suited for Big Sandy.
This Catholic Boy bet that Catholic Boy up, down and sideways. Thank God! Novena's worth.

Absolutely, Proud Citizen sticks out like Tonalist did his Peter to Belmont. And the work was a close up look at his Paws and confirmation of his confirmation.

Wednesday ~ Sat ~ No rain. 69 Degrees =√π÷׶™¥?¢¢¢ +€¢£¥^^{¶ -234.7896 of the 5 generation x M/L
of 4/5 = Triple Crown weather!

Well if it rains they might as well go ahead and hand him the crown. With a big ol' asterisk.

I don't see it that way, but if there has to be any * on my surrendered tickets, I'm buying (d).
Bourbon the drink and a white carnation. Grand Marnier with a side of Club Soda and a maduro.

I'll be sipping anejo tequila on ice tonight by the fire pit hopefully. Not sure about Saturday but if I hit the super I'll light up a robusto in your direction.
