I am not exactly blown away by the three year olds that chased Justify throughout the TC. I always look for the late developers to make some noise over the latter half of the year. I was pretty impressed by the way Mr. Freeze ran away from the field in the stretch at Mountaineer today. I think Romans has a runner on his hands. In his only loss, a narrow one at that in the Iowa Derby, he was wide the whole race. He avenged that defeat by blowing the doors of High North in the West Virginia Derby. The To Honor And Serve colt, out of a Tabasco Cat mare completed the 9f in a respectable 1:47.95.

That WEST VA race does deserve respect. Weights were/are on light side.

I mentioned above grass @ Spa has wetski syndrome and dirt does fluctuate there with unreasonable rain fall.

The fav in WV had Baffert aura spin on it. That Bob colt ran on tight turn track in last and just got up.

Forwardly consider track surface from/to and weight! Wait! Weight.
