Sure did! She played pretty well for an inexperienced 10 year old. Played left field in the first game, and shortstop in the final game. She had a huge two run single in the first game when they came from eight runs down. A couple of base running snafus, and a missed sign kept her weekend from being perfect, so she has a ways to go. I never pushed her because I wanted her to love the game before I "tightened the screws". LOL Now "Coach Dad" will get to work!

Haha I have fond memories of Little League baseball and to a lesser extent high school.  Center fielder with a good arm but I would just pray I’d get walked because I couldn’t hit worth a darn.

I was also a center fielder. However, I was a switch hitter that batted third in the lineup. Most people thought I should bat clean up, but my manager said he wanted me to always hit in the first inning.

I was all over Tacitus in here.I had a couple of tris with Joevia in 3rd but nothing with Sir Winston on top.Beginning to think that Jose Ortiz thinks he’s Joel Rosario

Perfect trip for Tax, no excuse. Put a US Grant on him to win.

Had the 6-3 exacta in the Woody Stephens, thought maybe the Steward gods would gift me one... but no.

Tax didn't run too badly, given his foot bruise and new plastic glue-on shoes.   This year just convinces me further that equipment changes are definitely something to stay away from.

I posted my pick on another forum before the race but only thing that pulled me out for the day was having hog creek hustle to win the Woody Stevens.  The ark razorbacks had won a game, I was wearing my ark raz t-shirt w/the big hog picture on the front, and it was a "hunch" play that paid off (the "when you're on a roll" hunch).   If we had been sitting around together at the kitchen table and had agreed on the 6-3 and my 8, we would both have 'bout $3K right now.........which actually still seems a bit low for the $39.80 winner + 2 longshots after it....  I had the #3.  I played 8-3-----I missed your 6!!

I too needed the Fencer to get up to at least 3rd but no.  I thought I had it but the finish line came a bit too early. Should have taken Winter's observation a little more serious on Jovia's works at Belmont earlier in the year.  Nice call Winter you always give us unique advice.  I did look into it but kept him off.  Like my earlier posts I wheeled Sir Winston and Master Fencer in all spots in exotics so I still got the exacta to cover my bets but no profit.  Good analysis by many on here. I'm getting closer :)

Only now do I see that Sir Winston had a win contender angle I was looking for... I think Tax was the only other.

Is that the angle of the horse that crosses the wire first?
