ogs!.........Rock Hard Ten? C'mon man, RHT can't even touch the breeding of TTL. Not jumping of the Tiz bandwagon. Maybe he won't win but if you leave him off your tickets i'm thinking its a big mistake. Other than last years debacle, the 5 prior favorites fared up to their odds.
Unless an injury derails my picks sticking w/Tiz, 1000 Words, Ny Traffic. trifecta. Might use Enforceable to clean up the super.
I wouldn't leave Tiz off my ticket but I don't think he has to go first.
I think Enforceable can run 2nd....reminds me a little bit of Firing Line.
Of course I have to play my infamous homebred exacta box, but there aren't many homebreds this year...only 3.
Finnick the Fierce
Looks like it would pay well for a $10 exacta.
Just for "Super" clarification..My comment was about Others..most All other bettors using Tiz The Law.
My vertical ticket in the Derby will include Tiz The Law.
Reference to Rock Hard Ten was not about his PPs or breeding.
Dogs is a Rock Hard Ten.
Ten cent ..10 cent Super. And Single one horse in 1st.. Must Win. The number of combinations. 1×19x18x17×16=93,024 20 combinations is 20 time that 1,860,480.
My point is that what you are showing is not a superfecta. That would be 1 x 19 x 18 x 17 = 5,814 combinations. Your wager is for the top five finishers, not the top four.
Correct. Reader is reading the play and understand the math.
Sometimes the band singer sings some wrong words. When dancers look at him he says..hey they are listening.
If we ever meet..I'm buying. "You get the tip.
Sorry Dogs....thought you implied an analogy between RHT and TTL for derby favoritism!!!
Love all 3 of those colts. My issue with FTF is his post position. He has to get an outside post so he can scan the field going into the clubhouse turn. If he draws inside i don't think he fares well. Seems like he'd be apt to cock his head to the right looking at the runners. Just an opinion. That being said i would love to see him get ITM!
Yes I do get going with the double meanings of using racing and language.
Just set up my drums at the Beer Factory in a college town 40 miles from my Country Home. I guess I can Justify my Funny Cide here because Dogs is Always Dreaming.
I'm just a funny, sweet guy with a side dish of Charismatic. Laid back don't keep my nose to the Grindstone. Not a drinker so there's no Go for Gin.
The Super or the Tri in a 20 field is a Genuine Risk. So one had to Spend a Buck to hit. Racing is a Foolish Pleasure. A Genuine Risk.
But the Kentucky Derby is the race of the year. And I'll Have Another.
Dogs' a Rock Hard Ten.
Good one Dogs........at some time you must have been an english teacher? LOL
I totally enjoyed that response.....Good luck 13 days from now!...Cash some!
The real Delta 2020 KY Derby horse has to be the obvious Tiz the Law with caveat will fav win the Run for the Rose's 7 years in a row?
So pandemic has 7 jocks not reporting to Derby duty a la pandemic quarantine quandary. Churchill jocks pick up a third of field with 7. Dogs has seen a lot of Derbys and the pre season maneuvers a jockey takes to get his Derby mount. Ala a comment made about Dan Quayle when he compared himself to JFK. Another?said to him, "I knew JFK and you're no JFK." Well I know the Kentucky Derby, and this is no Kentucky Derby."
Accordingly this year we have Delta Jockeys. Who won't face the in the irons skills of the likes of Ortiz Brothers, Joe-El Rosario and last year's winning default jockey Flavin.
My amigo Husker and I respectfully declined mounts as well due to the number of sacrificed days to Derby and return quarantine.
And a list of eligible subs will not take on the Derby assignments as to the number of days and rides they would have to surrender to the "My Old Kentucky Home" gut renching song before attempting the 2 minute race of a lifetime.
According, we have substitute:
Max Player – Ricardo Santana, Jr. (Kentucky) – 60 pts.
And statistically and arguably one of the best all time riders and Hall of Famer. Further, at great sacrifice to his heavy rider commitments.
Caracaro – Javier Castellano 60 pts
And these mounts have hit the board behind TTL in G1 Stakes leading up to The Big Race.
For the time being this is The Derby Dashboard. (d)
