Great story.

I got the guys sitting around outside smoking at the shop interested in the Derby. Got tired of listening about cars.

I guess that means you were a bad influence in the neighborhood  LOL. 

Someone I dislike very much introduced me to horse racing.  He dumped my best friend after 10 years of marriage. 

He dumped horse racing, too, and I am still best friends with a lovely woman. 

So he's a double loser.

"Analysis paralysis"....great analogy about the derby! Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday i think i'm devoiding myself of looking up stats. Crunch time on Thursday for the Oaks. Hopefully there'll won't be anymore defections. I really don't want to see any 3 year old Allowance horses entered.

It’s just fun but when it comes down to it I try to stick with the basics...who’s fast enough and who’s liable to still be running at the end.

Looks like it might be nice weather for a change this year, keep your fingers crossed.
