I checked it out, good splits on the AW track, I like to see that on any surface
and IOrtiz.

What I liked was the way King’s Fortune kicked clear at the end, as if he found another gear. Bodes well as the distances get greater. Not common with a first time starter. He was well prepared!

My Top pick for 2022 3 yr old season Charge It is back Today after a 7 month Layoff
for Quarter crack Problems, favored with Lasix Race 8 today, that won't help
quarter cracks. 111 Beyer winning his last race by 23 Lengths without L.

Did you see Bus Buzz on 2/4/23 at SA? He may wind up being a sprinter, but that debut was sensational, and not a Baffert trainee in sight!

Firster with Lasix and a Gelding with a 70 ft runup, could be cheap speed
Cal Bred and we shall see ,good eyeball race, thanks for the find ,you never know!
Feb-10
Thanks, Randy Moss has been addressing this for some Time especially at Gulfstream
70 ft or less is pretty neutral if you don't pick it up from a chart. Big difference Like at
Santa Anita for race distance and or turf.
Feb 4th Card : 6f 70 Ft, 8F Dirt 180 ft, 8 f Turf 120ft 0 rail, 8.5 f Robert Lewis 90 ft
6f turf 45 ft, 7f dirt 28 ft., and so on ... 28 ft 7f to 180 ft for dirt miles Gasp
90 ft for beta workouts.
Feb-10
Never knew some at as much as 180.
For large fields, which we don't see much anymore, the runup does provide safety time for shake out when the gates open and the bumping happens..ah..broke in a tangle.
Hope all enjoy Super Bowl.
