Brad Cox has 2 in here that are Lasix free Who would of thought. LOL Louisiana Derby
Both have the the highest bris speed figures in the field and with out Lasix.
Yeah, I saw that, thanks for pointing it out. Cox is a tricky guy. But he also puts up horses like Verifying and Giant Mischief, so he's not a monolith. Did you know he said " chasing Bob Baffert helps motivate him to get out of bed in the morning"?
The one thing I have always said about Steve, when his horses come into the paddock, they are the "best dressed", no matter what level of race it is. Braided manes, every horse is SPOTLESS. And it's always like that. He employs some very talented artisitic grooms. (Lukas, too though not as over the top best dressed).
I didn't pick his horses for the LA Derby, but Asmussen was robbed of the derby with Gun Runner, and Epicenter. It's a curious kind of curse, he's won everything there is to win on an entire continent, but can't win the KY Derby. So, I am kinda rooting for him this year but not sure he has the horse to do it. I'm not a super trainer groupie, just giving credit where due.
This may not have occured to severyone, but here are the earnings, lifetime:
Steve Asmussen $407,586,094
Bob Baffert $341,430,502
Chad Brown $252,011,391
Brad Cox $137,735, 296

"Just messing with you. Thanks for what u do.
Perhaps the best kidding. LOL.
Smarty does a great job, sincere and extremely diligent.
Maybe a bit real time for a blog with less regulars than the Last Supper.
Maybe Reddam named that colt after him.

Interesting framing.
We are all members of the Last Supper, I guess that puts us all in rareified air? LOL I kinda like it.

Worcester 3-1 is the favorite,. 4 entrants are 4-1, 5 entrants are 5-1, that's 10 entrants right there
what a field odds wise.. The favorite Worcester is a Maiden (3-0-1-1) American Baffert Influence.
Worcester #13 post 11 3-1, Baffert, Ah Jeez #2 Post 4 9-1, O'neill, Tall Boy #12 Post 10, 5-1, the 3 American entrants
more later,

Which ones The Nor Dancer/ Sunday Silence nicks gaggle of them
remember back in the day when many cappers would bet any entrant with Halo
in their pedigree in a sloppy or muddy track, thru Sunday Silence some have numerous
Halos in there pedigrees, what are the chances of a sloppy track in Dubai ?
Jeff Siegal use to crack me up, picking Halo in a pedigree and after words, wrong Halo
Or in Carraige races : I know nothing about these races, Pick any horse with Hanover in their name.
Halo and Natalma are closely related 2d tff.

All three. Strictly a price play because they are guaranteed overlays with Baffert, O'Neill and the locals taking all the money. Nobody has good data on the Japanese except the Japanese.
No handicapping required.
I had a friend who has since gone to the big OTB in the sky who would bet any Blue Ensign progeny without a second glance. Lost a lot of money, too. LOL
