Clement says he chose the Rick Violette Stakes against the boys, because the filly race on the 22nd; the Stillwater, came up light.

EDIT: Run Curtis Run won the Rick Violette Stakes. Ready AP was a tiring second. Based on the numbers that came back, all the horses regressed from their previous start. Several came back after less than 3 weeks off, and are in need of a break.

Ready AP ran a little further, broke better and it looked like a merry go round track 

and slow, watching it  on tv.  Coinage listed on my list finished 3rd in the race.

Clement has another2 yo filly with a turn of foot and imo race 5 today could Saratoga

be a key race on turf 8.5f the winner Pizza Bianca a May foal and a couple others caught my eye

on the finish of the race. Their sprinkled with world wide nicks.

I added to my 2 yr old list of 2"s that raced. Elite sprinter Prospect.

Race 7 Today at Gulfstream 7.5f Turf  MSW. Race to watch, Some well bred turf Prospects

Including a MTR.  watch for possible future grade ones.

Edit to give the results of race 7. off the Turf, 7f Dirt track good. The first 2 looked good  1.24.7

Kitodan won the head bob over Winging it and both have API Bmsire.

Prospects for dirt or Turf, only 2 from this race IMO.

Pletcher has a colt....Keepcalmcarryon....that I am waiting to run back, working well after a debut 2nd to Wit.  Wondering why you don't have him on your list?

I don't know. maybe his E 76 for finishing 6 lengths behind Wit E91 and that race 

didn't put Wit on my list either. Wit's next race put him on my list.
