This year more than any year I can remember, post position and trip will have a lot more meaning. Too many of these are so close that being too wide or having a bit of trouble will be difficult to make up. No one stands that far above. I've got to hope Rosario gives the wide trip he usually gives me when I need him, and not the practical joke type of ride where he went right to the rail. EP Front runners more likely to get their trip and avoid the trouble if they can last and keep pace down. SH on a far post will put him too wide as he was in the BG. Frenchie will be choking his as usual so you cannot count on the EP. I think I'll be leaning to the speed horses filling in with some of the later runners, but there as not been a lot of late runners other than Zandon, I'm inclined to toss all those Wood LP figs. TTB is interesting to me as I liked his race, but have not seen where I think he can translate that to real dirt to be effective.

What do you think the pace will be? I dont see a smoking one by any means. So speed could hold.

I am not expecting a fast pace, mid 47 at most which is why I am leaning to the speedier horses over the others. That pace will give some a break from what they have been seeing, never losing to the horse they were chasing. Who will make him chase?

Emmanuel would of made it in on points. seems like horses that we really like end up in Pletcher's
barn and many don't get in ! Pioneer Of Medina almost didn't get in, he could of used one more race.

What worries you, he has the Strong Argentina pedigree thru Candy Ride That throws the DP and DI off
and the CD is always grasping at straws and the Rf Thru Ballade to get Rahy and Saint Ballado , Blushing Groom
the Dominant Sire in the up close pedigree with Rahy, Candy stripes, ,Wise Brides, 2 lines of Halo and Ballade Stam Chef
Herbager CS on each side.
The horse adapts to the break with you never know what you are going to get gets scary to me
and many like that about him, adapts maybe, I'm not sure what do you think ?
Candy Ride(ARG) 13c Track record holder at 10 furlongs Pacific Classic Del Mar. His BM Sire.
