I've been watching the 17, was holding around 15-16 to 1 until the last hour or so, hammered down to 5-1. There goes that one, will check around closing. Zozos has an outlier in the exacta pool, might but some bets down on exactas of ones I don't have covered in field

I didn't make any futures wagers. I told my brother to put down a few bucks on White Alborrio in Pool 2. He went from 99-1 to 171-1 at closing. I hope he wins for my brother.

SH has not been the right price in any of the pools, or in LV, since the fall.....I do like him, as you do, and I think we may get a better price in the Derby itself, possibly closer to 8 or 9-1.
I do have Mo, Zandon, Zozos, and In Due Time, all of whom I like, at attractive prices

He went up from that 5-1 to 8-1.... 9-1 at close. I did bet at 8-1 thinking if he won he would be less on KD day, losing, he will be over that, into double digits. Epicenter Zandon, Taiba may all be favored over him, could be others as well.
Apr-16
Mo may be favored too, as well as White Abarrio.....public usually favors the higher Beyer figs, and the 1st place finish. Workouts matter a small bit, as does trainer. I'm thinking 9 or 10-1 at this moment.

My wife has a future on White Abarrio @ 8/1. Abarrio might be the most overlooked horse in the derby along with Cyberknife who are among the 100 pt colts. I don't read a whole lot about either one!

White Abarrio made the front page today at DRF....Saffie is keeping him at GP to work before shipping to CD. I think it's a mistake; I would want to see how he moves over Churchill.

On the topic of Kentucky Derby past, Stan passed away last summer. I always gave him a hard time in jest, he always took things too serious. I always enjoyed those discussions with you Stan. At rest may you take things in stride.

Rest in peace Stan, It took you a long time to admit your mistake and You manned up and apologized and made it right to your
publisher and others it was the right thing to do. I miss hearing your RAN joke it was funny. Loved Doxa too. RIP

Yeah, "doxa" was a running joke on this forum for a number of years but time to retire that one...
