Speaking of memories, I was in attendance when Secretariat won the Belmont.....could be one of the most exciting sporting events I have ever witnessed!  With pure adrenaline, my friends and I hopped down, uninvited, to the large winner's circle.....I was apparently on national tv jumping up during some pictures, wearing my cowboy hat as the Okie transplant in NY for that weekend.  A moment I will never forget!

I thought Barber Road looked good in the post parade.  I am not using him though.

"But Also if you like both mo don and nest, why would you have to decide between them?  In that BEL that Creator won, didn't pletcher have 1-3 horses, one ran 2nd, one ran 4th------it could have been 1st and 3rd, you just don't know.  There is no reason not to use 2 Pletchers is there?  Heck how to know they won't even run 1-2? "

Winter on point, once again!

I didn't end up wagering the race.  I had my conditional wager all ready to go.  Then I saw the low odds, found out Andy Serling had Creative Minister, (kiss of death for me cuz I can't stand that guy) and then saw Rich Strike acting out in the post parade, and then saw how good Barber Road looked.........and realized I would have to re-do my entire wager and didn't really have time to do that.   So I just passed the race.

Sometimes you just get too many signals that you're not supposed to do something.

Fate was on your side. Like the priest near Gray's Papaya always told me: "There are signs everywhere."

Mo D and Nest are the only two from this race to race both lasix-free and bute-free in all of their races. Coincidence or not, they were much the best two yesterday.

Rich Strike and Barber Road were the other two lifetime Lasix-free/Bute-free runners. That small 'b' is for blinkers. relaxed
