I have several forums I run for my club, one is a closed forum. I have tried to send a invite to a member but for some reason it is not going through to either of her emails. Any suggestions?
Just for reference...what are the two email providers?
You can set a password up in your controls on the page called Main settings (I think that’s what it is called) you can change it delete it after she gets in.
One is Yahoo the other is her company email server.
She is not even getting the email invite.
Can't tell why the invites are not arriving, suggest looking in spam/trash folders.
As suggested above, set an access code in Controls under Public/Private and send that to the members. Remove the code after they arrive, it's needed only for that first entry.
If all fails, you can set the forum to Public at a specific time, then Private again after they arrive the first time.

Just email her from your own email account with the address to your forum and the password.

In a forum set to Classic look in Controls, Main Settings, scroll down to Public/Private.
In a Zeta forum it's under Settings, Forum Access Control.
