I'm relatively new to hosting [Fighting for America] so this is the first time it has happened to me. One of our participants was gagged during the night and not by me. In the old days, a cascade ban was reserved for extremely vile, threatening or illegal behaviour. The person involved is unlikely to have done any of those so there will be questions and I have no answers. Are hosts not alerted at all to such matters?

Someone receiving a cascade ban could be for actions anywhere on Delphi, not just your forum. We are unlikely to discuss it with hosts for privacy reasons.
