Hi,

I just wanted to check that if I closed a forum that all the messages get deleted and it doesn't just sit somewhere that members (or anyone if it was public) could search and read the messages at a later point in time.

I have some housekeeping to do in forums that aren't being used any more but have personal/confidential information in them. I don't want to waste lots of time deleting everything if closing will just wipe it all out anyway

Once the Host closes a forum no one will be able to access, data doesn't get wiped immediately, that's done at unspecified intervals.

Only the Host would be able to ask to have it opened if it hasn't been wiped.
