Is there a way to wipe a folder or delete its contents without individually deleting all 541 post?

No, sorry. That would be a very dangerous move.

Note that older messages in folders will not show unless members look for them. Also, DelphiPlus Hosts can set a folder to no access.

Yes, there should be.  Click on the folder that you want to delete the contents to open it up.  Scroll down to the bottom and click Manage Discussion.  Then at the top click Check/Uncheck All, or you can put a check mark in the little box next to each discussion to delete only the ones you want.  Then place a check in the Confirm box.  Last, in the Select One drop down, chose Delete and press Go.

You can also move discussions into a different folder doing the same.

Dang it! So close. I got to the point where I could click the boxes, but then nothing. I could see no way to delete. I do appreciate the help.

To Gunter: The idea is to repurpose the folder, so deleting old posts is the only way to make sense of it.

Did you check the box that says confirm before you clicked the Go button next to the drop down that has Delete listed?  You have to confirm your choice before you click the Go button.

You can't delete a folder, but you can rename it.

This method (that Dee is describing)is kinda finicky... make sure after you click on the folder title you scroll down and click Next 50 if that link appears. You must start with the oldest discussion and move fwd.

I didn't know that.  Learned something new. :)  If you do it from the first listed, do the ones on the next 50 page, move forward, or no, you have to start with the last one?

The last then move fwd oldest to most recent.
If discussions were already moved or deleted it can make accessing the actual oldest ones tricky.

oh I see - yes keep clicking Next 50 after each deletion until the next 50 disappears.

Oh, that's right!  I remember when Angela and I couldn't find many of our older messages on the Styles Center.  I can't remember exactly what we did to get to them, but it wasn't pretty. :D  So yeah, start with the oldest and work forward.  Definitely makes sense.
