Trump has all the cards and all the leverage on children who were brought into our nation illegally, as to weather they stay or get deported.....Dick Morris.

Butch,

Our President is an accomplished deal maker but even more importantly he has God on his side.  No doubt about!  He has been anointed by God for the job he has ahead of him.

Yes, and I find it amazing as to how few Christians seem to understand and believe that and there are probably so many who would not even understand what you're talking about, and even worse, how many actually despise the man, especially in the inner cities.

WINNING: Federal Judge Gives Trump GREAT News on DACA!
By Gary Maher - March 6, 2018034
President Donald Trump has notched another win for immigration reform. Late Monday, a federal judge in Maryland sided with the Trump Administration’s decision to end Obama’s controversial Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
Bush-appointed Judge Roger W. Titus ruled that Trump acted within his authority to rescind DACA, a program that – at best – existed in a legal gray area. As Titus wrote in his decision, Trump’s decision to end the program while Congress comes up with another solution was “rational.”
“This decision took control of a pell-mell situation and provided Congress — the branch of government charged with determining immigration policy — an opportunity to remedy it. Given the reasonable belief that DACA was unlawful, the decision to wind down DACA in an orderly manner was rational,” Titus said.

Federal Judge in Maryland has just ruled that “President Trump has the right to end DACA.” President Obama had 8 years to fix this problem, and didn’t. I am waiting for the Dems, they are running for the hills!

DHS also approved of Titus’s ruling. “The Department of Justice has long maintained that DHS acted within its lawful authority in making the discretionary decision to wind down DACA in an orderly manner, and we welcome the good news today that the district court in Maryland strongly agrees,” DOJ spokesman Devin O’Malley said in a statement.
While the ruling is definitely a win for common sense immigration reform, it unfortunately doesn’t affect the current status of DACA. Injunctions handed down by other courts have kept the program in place. However, no new illegals who would be eligible for the program can apply.
The is the second time in two weeks that Trump has received good news about his strides to enforce the rule of immigration law. Last week, the Supreme Court agreed that immigrants detained for deportation can be held indefinitely without periodic custody or bail hearings.

Elaine,

That news is wonderful!  The SCOTUS made the right decision to allow for this ruling to make its way through the usual judicial system.

It will be interesting now to see what impact this ruling will have on what is taking place in Congress right now on immigration related issues!

"And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him. / But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt..." (Lev. 19:33-34)

Caspar,

That verse only applies to those who serve the God of Israel and circumcise the males who are part of their family.  In other words, that scripture only applies to those who assimilate within the land.

It doesn't apply to those who come into our land illegally, burn our flag and place their country of origin and the values of the land they left above ours.  And, that applies to a requirement to obey our laws and remember that our nation has a Judea/Christian foundation.  The USA is one nation under One God with "In God we trust" on our coins and currency.

We are a Republic with a Constitution that is to be followed.  We are not a Muslim - Socialist or Communist Nation.  Our nation does not embrace Sharia law, Socialist or Communist values even though the far left of the Democratic party is attempting to move the USA in that direction and so are most of the Globalist who want us to have open borders . . . but mostly for their personal financial and other gains.  They aren't focused on what is important to the USA or American citizens.

Respectfully, where do you find this in the text?

Caspar,

Read that verse in context and especially within the context of the whole of God's word.  It will give you your answer.  Truth cannot be found in a single scripture.

I entirely agree. But many times in the past I have seen people draw very definite conclusions from single verses of the Bible. So many have a tendency to do this with an opinion they want to advance but ignore the principle when it is applied to opinions with which they disagree.
