Tribal Transportation Conference

The 2nd Annual Tribal Transportation Conference provides an outstanding opportunity for state, tribal, and federal professionals to increase their knowledge of the government-to-government relationship between tribes of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT). The conference will include sessions on current WisDOT tribal initiatives and provide opportunities for exchanging ideas, networking, and building new relationships to enhance services and address tribal transportation concerns.

Heritage Preservation & Cultural Resources. This track will include an update on developing cultural preservation policy at WisDOT and identifying and building partnerships in this area.
Business & Economic Development. This track will include information on competitive quoting/bidding and successful project management/performance on WisDOT projects for businesses in the construction and trades industries.
Transportation & Transit. This track will help attendees understand tribal needs in transportation and transit and opportunities for partnerships between agencies and tribal governments.
Conference registration fee: $75
The registration fee includes Thursday and Friday's meals. Acceptable forms of payment include check or purchase order (made payable to WisDOT). If you register after October 20, please fax a copy of your registration and payment to (608) 264-6667. If you plan on paying on site, please remit check or cash only.
Vendor/exhibitor registration fee: $85
The vendor/exhibitor fee includes 8' x 2' skirted table, one chair, and an ID sign. Registration includes full participation in the conference, including meals for one person.
