Cherokee Nation has introduced a language curriculum for
use in schools. For the next few weeks, we will be presenting
some of the lessons from this program. The material does not
cover reading and writing in the Cherokee syllabary, but the
pronunciation of the words using the Roman alphabet.

If you are a teacher or home school your child and are
interested in acquiring the curriculum, please contact
Anna Huckaby at the Cherokee Nation Cultural Resource
Center in Tahlequah, Ok (918/458-6170) -
