I feel so low.
as low as anyone can go
searching for sunlight
surviving with moonlight
darkness overloads

Welcome to the Forum. While we are more focused on alcoholism, depression is a common problem and many of us have had to work on both. If you read some of the Journals, you may find some things that have worked for other people. Good luck, and keep letting us know how you are doing.

Welcome! I'm so glad you found us! I have depression, too. I'm sure I started drinking in order to self-medicate. Things got out of hand after my husband died, and I've been fighting this ever since (20+ years).
I'm doing well now. I put a LOT of effort into my sobriety. I'm on several sobriety sites and a lot of what I read, and even watch on tv, is sobriety related.
I hope you like it here and continue to post.
