I believe the foundational understanding of our being in the image of GOD is: At our core, we are formed and given to relationship issues.

What matters first is that it is about the REAL God, not how we may thing He should be. Worship is done all over the world to false gods, regardless of the name they give them.

Yes, faith comes not by what men think about the Word of GOD, but rather by the Word of GOD. If we took the posture of children listening to the input of GOD, the reality in churches would change DRASTICALLY.
