It is. My old girls scout leader is a civil war reenactor and she works at Strawberry Banke - nearby museum on one of the 1st settlements in the US (http://www.strawberybanke.org/) - she makes them.
Kitties!!!! Happy Cindy... thanx Jen!
My header went wonky!
It should have looked like this:
Lots of fun ninja headers, but they wouldn't fit.
Just had a little look at the site. It looks fascinating. I imagine it would take more than a day to see it all, and then it would change with the seasons. I was trying to spot your friend in the pictures. Not really very clever as I have no idea what she looks like. But it made me look closely at the people and the skills they have.
That one does look good. When I saw the extreme close-up I thought it was some sort of sea creature. But when I read what it was, I found it fascinating to look at so close. The spots really look like holes, not like differently coloured fur. Amazing!
Think the last one is superb. Made me chuckle.
Brilliant one for today also, will get us all into the Winter Event spirit.
I said spirit, as in happiness, which could also be mistaken for the alcohol spirits. Either way fun if you can part take.
I see from the forum, our PC friends are having rumblings of the Winter Event. Yippee.
Take care, Tracy
Apologies to all Americans today.
I could not find a Pearl Harbour memorial header that fit, or made sense when it did.
The museum actually looks pretty fascinating:
Thanks so much for trying. It is an eerie place. Most of the pictures are taken on a clear day. I always found ones like this more fitting. My father was an airplane mechanic stationed in Hawaii. He and 3 others were sent to Hilo the night before Pearl Harbor was attacked to work on a plane that couldn't make it back. He would never speak of his time in the Army Air Corps except to say the girls in Biloxi were nicer than the ones in Hawaii.
