A VERY Sad Banner for me

PTG, I'm so very sorry for your grief.  My husband lost his mom from breast cancer and my sister was diagnosed with leukemia in 2010.  Massive chemo treatments, radiation and two stem cell transplants later, the cancer is at bay.  But she suffers horribly from graft vs. host disease and the mental struggle has been heartbreaking.  There was a long time she wouldn't go near a mirror.  Cancer is so insidious, I just wish someone somewhere could finally break the code and find a cure.  Surely, that must be possible in the year 2021.

I lost my dad to it 23 years ago.

LOST MY HUSBAND OF ALMOST 50 YEARS.  FOUR YEARS AND ALMOST 2 MONTHS AGO.   STILL NOT TOTALLY COPING WITH IT.  SOME DAYS BETTER THAN OTHERS.
